About Me

I'm a 46 year old Southern gal trying to make it in today's world. I never thought I would ever be divorced and dating at this stage in my life, much less having a career in the legal field.  I'm an old-fashioned girl who was definitely born in the wrong era. 

I love cooking a big spread of Southern or Cajun food and sitting down to the table with family and friends. Finding that little something that is just perfect for someone and then seeing their face when they open it. Taking a nap on a rainy Sunday afternoon with the fan on high but all cozy under my old quilt. Long drives in the country with That Man with no particular destination in mind but somehow always turning into an adventure.  And a good pedicure will always cure what ails you. 

My dislikes?  I detest bad grammar, waiting in line although I'm trying to get better at that, people who play their music so loud it rattles my windows, ignorance, people who refuse to act their age, when my feet are cold, bad coffee, people who pretend to listen but are actually just waiting to talk again, telemarketers, rudeness, putting away groceries, junk mail.
