Take the Long Way Home

Sometimes you just need to turn left instead of right. What a gift to see this on the way home from work tonight. I took these with my i-Phone because I had left Penelope at home today. These pictures don’t do it near the justice it deserves.

I don’t pretend to be a great photographer – just someone who loves to see things from behind the lens. If you really want to see some beautiful pictures, go check out Courtney and her gorgeous photography. She is extremely talented and I keep hoping one day I can talk her into teaching me a tenth of what she knows.

I’m linking up with Follow Friday 40 and Over this week. Check out Java and all the wonderful older wiser gals over there.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I shall be telling this with a sigh
somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a woods and I---
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

great pics and a good reminder to stop and smell the roses...:o)

That sky is beautiful. I always enjoy seeing pretty skies. Lately, we've had a lot of clouds, gray overcast skies and rain with only a bit of sunshine breaking through for a couple hours at a time all last week.

Sometimes I find the iPhone captures the landscape better than my camera! Love these shots!

(sigh) I have got to get an iPhone! My crackberry takes horrible pictures. :(

The pictures are awesome and you are a good photographer!

I gotta say, Thank God you had your iPhone!

Those pictures are STUNNING (and I wouldn't have guessed from an iPhone)... just made me gasp and linger over them!
