I was totally going to participate in I Heart Faces this week for the very first time but it’s not been the best of weeks (yes I know it’s only Tuesday) and I completely forgot until it was after the deadline. Crap.
The theme this week was ‘whimsy’. I’m not sure if this one is what would be considered a truly whimsical photo but I just love the expression on her face.
This little precious is Emma, daughter of Courtney. She’s the one I mentioned the other day whose blog showcases all her great photography. Check her out when you get a chance and tell her I’m not the only one who thinks she’s a camera genius.

I just visited your friends photo blog, it's great! I love your shots too. You have inspired me with your great talent. I like what you said about liking to see things through a lens.
My husband and I have been talking about getting a better camera, and we decided to do a little research today, and go out to make the big purchase. I have a Lumix 10x that I've been using, but I'd really like to get something that's a step in the semiprofessional arena. Any suggestions?
