Well, I do declare!

I’ve lived here for almost three years and with as many road trips I’ve taken, I can’t believe it took me this long to find my recent discovery.

The other day I decided to cut through town instead of traveling down the highway like I normally do. I passed a street sign that caused me to immediately slam on my brakes and whip my car right around.  I was right ~ I hadn’t imagined it.  I couldn’t believe my eyes.  This was the name of the street I passed:

I decided to drive around the subdivision.  I also found this street:

And the best part?  Guess what street connected the two of these…yep, it sure did.

And not to be forgotten…

Take a drive around your hometown.  Sometimes you will find the best surprises.

Isn't that simply divine?! Love it! Yes, I would indeed have driven around more to discover any other surprises. Good job!

I seem to remember a street sign or two ending up in the trunk of my car as a teenager. Don't know how they managed to get there. So if one or two of those go missing when your girls come, don't be surprised.

I went through a neighborhood in Mt. Holley NC where all the roads were named after people from Tom Sawyer. :) It was great.

Love it! Although, I know of one sign in a little town in the upstate of SC that has a road called "Booger Branch Road"...not sure what movie inspired that but I think I had rather not know!

That's really cool! The best sign I've seen yet is Dismal Hollow Road. I'm not sure I'd want to live there!

We have a friend that lives about a block from the corner of Gay St. and Queen St. in Longmont Colorado.

I'd have shot the developer.
