On This Day in History

There was a very special little person who came into this world twenty-three years ago.  She was so special she was given a very important and historic name – Katie Scarlett.

On the day this picture was taken – when you were but 1 day old - I could never have in my wildest dreams imagined all the things we would do and the fun we would have. We’ve come a long way haven’t we?

“We stuck together through the good and bad times
Pulp Fiction, Blazing Saddles, and Fast Times.  I’m so glad that I have these friends this daughter o mine.”  Bowling for Soup

We have been through our fair share of bad times as well but we always made it through to the other side, didn’t we?  I guess that’s why one of your favorite quotes is, “It will all be OK in the end and if it’s not OK, it’s not the end.”  What a great attitude you have my Katiebug.  It’s one of the many, many things I love about you.  The list is so long I wouldn’t even begin to start for fear of leaving anything off.

So happy 23rd birthday to you my beautiful girl – have a wonderful time going out with your friends, be careful and remember that I’ll always love you ‘high as the sky and deep as the beach!’

What a nice post for your baby girl. How is it that it still seems like yesterday they were babies or just starting school...

So strange....I tried like heck to have a baby on the 17th (had one on the 12th and one on the 20th)!! And my little wonder's name is Caitlin (I call her Caity) was 21 on the 20th. Another thing we have in common, Belle!! :) Have a wonderful day!

Oh, how sweet!

Such a delightful post. I think I will go and call my daughter. I haven't told her how much I love her for about 3 weeks. kt
