Thank You Very Much ~ 02/11/10

The Daily Dribbles

As said in the best movie ever made (that would be Gone With The Wind for all you people above the Mason/Dixon line"Great Jehsoshaphat!" Thank goodness there are people like Kmama who offer free therapy like "Thank You Very Much" where you can link up, sound off and breath a sigh of relief that you've gotten some really irritating things off your chest.  So, head over there (now or after you read these) and read what's on the mind of a lot of people these days.  I bet you're able to come up with a few of your own.  Maybe not today...but you will.  Trust me.  You will.

To the antibiotics who did in fact save me from a very painful hospital stay but in turn wiped out every good cell of bacteria along with the bad THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

To the extremely inconvenient case of thrush living in my mouth and throat rendering me unable to eat or drink anything without it feeling like razor blades, (and bringing along your Southern friend) THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

To my wonderful, caring and very cute doctor who returned my blubbering call to the after-hours service and understood just how much in pain I was and called in a 'script for me to get rid of the thrush, seriously THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

And also to my wonderful doctor for saying we needed to get me better because "After all, it is Valentine's weekend" and making me blush because not only are you my doctor but also That Man's doctor THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

To Mr. Persistant who after being called four  (COUNT 'EM FOUR TIMES) to bring me the information needed to settle your case so I can get you some damn money and has still not shown up with the information when you said you would thus causing my boss to ride my back like a fat kid with a roll of quarters on the horse in front of the grocery store , THANK YOU VERY MUCH.  It's just what I wanted this week.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am now following you, I love your story below of the jackhole you worked for and the creepy occurances.

Ack, the thrush!!! We dealt with a nasty bout of that (me and baby) about a year ago... you have my pity!

Oh, and I grew up well north of the M-D line, but GWTW has ALWAYS been one of my favorite classic movies. I love me some Vivian Leigh!

I hope you feel better. I have never had thrush but I have heard tales from friends who have. As for your boss, only one more day to go and then a 3-day weekend.

OH NO!!! Not thrush and it's southern sister. That's TERRIBLE!! I was very, very sick last year at this time and while I didn't have thrush or it's southern sister, I had the green apple two-step after antibiotics had killed all the bacteria in my stomach. Ugh.

Thanks for linking up!! I hope you feel better soon!!

Dude, the thrush and it's southern sister SUCK!! OTC meds for the southern sister once landed me in the ER. There are many places you don't want to have an allergic reaction to meds. Your chicken is one of them. Just sayin'.

WV was "Snoho". You could totally call me that right now since we have about seven inches of snow on the ground (I got that from a student earlier so it may not be accurate but it's at least four) and the shoe thief called me a f-ing ho after he asked me what I doing tonight and I asked him if he'd been smoking crack long.

My list would be far too long today... Starting with that liar Calvin Klein (Don't get me started on his version of a size 12!)

Gone With The Wind is second on my list after The Godfather. What can I say? I'm an East Coast Italian. ;)
